Scott is a native of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, and has been in the business of managing the care of golf courses for over 10 years. He received a Turfgrass Management Degree from Penn State University. 

Scott was promoted to Club Course Superintendent in 2004, after serving as Assistant Superintendent since joining Ravenwood in 1999.

He currently resides in Mount Juliet with his wife, Shannon; son, Eli; and daughter, Aly.
